- Volume (liters) = Wt (kg) X % Dehyd + 45 ml/Kg (maintenance).
- Remember to go to additives.
- (Maintenance)
- 45 ml/Kg/24 hrs.
- Remember to replace all losses as they occur.
- Remember to go to additives.
- (Shock)

- (Plasma)
- 10 -25 ml/Kg/hour.
- (Hypertonic Saline -- 7%)
- 4 ml/Kg.
- Need to also use isotonic fluids at 28 ml/Kg/hour.
